Tournament format :
Champion :
- All participants play 1.round Main.
- No players will have bye in the first round.
- Non progressive Consolation.
- No Last Chance, see sideaction.
- 2.round in Main and 1.round in Consolation is redrawn with byes.
- All matches are played with clocks.
- Main : 21 points each round.
- Consolation : 17 points each round.
Intermediate :
- Group play followed by single elimination tournament.
- Non progressive Consolation.
- No Last Chance, see sideaction.
- If more than 16 players, 8 players proceed to Quarter Final.
- If 16 or less players, 4 players proceed to Semi Final.
- The rest go to Consolation tournament.
- There are clock preference in Intermediate.
- Group : 11 points each round.
- Main : 9 points each round.
- Consolation : 7 points each round.
Notice for Intermediate flight :
For domestic players the Intermediate fligth is only open for players who has never before achieved a rating above 1690.
