 GridGammon kan anbefales som et bra sted å spille online backgammon.
GridGammon kan anbefales som et bra sted å spille online backgammon pga godt brukergrensesnitt, mulighet til å lagre matcher med mer. Det begynner dessuten etter hvert å bli en del nordmenn som spiller på GridGammon og flere skal det nok bli. Det er ikke mulig å spille med innsats på GridGammon.
For å spille på Gridgammon gjør du følgende :
Last ned og installer backgammon klient her
Send en mail til support@gridgammon.com hvor du svarer på følgende spørsmål
- Requested nickname (maximum 12 alpha-numeric characters):
- Name (first, last):
- Address (street, city, country, postal zip code):
- Birthdate (month/day/year):
- Telephone number:
- How did you first learn about GridGammon? (friend, bg club, etc)
The Norwegian Backgammon Federation (see http://www.nbgf.no)
- Who (GridGammon player/nickname) referred you to GridGammon? Leonardo Jerkovic (dubrovnik) and Sondre Rike (sonrik)
- Please list all nicknames, if any, that play in GridGammon from your computer/household.
- On which site(s) do you play backgammon? What is your current rating/experience?
- What operating system do you use? (XP, Windows 7, Leopard, Snow Leopard, etc.)

You can download the Mac GridGammon client from http://public.me.com/pdferguson. The current version is GridGammon 900.zip. Just copy the file to your Mac, double click to unzip the file, and place GridGammon in your Applications folder. The current version of GridGammon requires Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5.x) or Snow Leopard (10.6.x).
If you are still on Tiger (10.4.x), there is a version of GridGammon (GridGammon for Mac OS X 10.4.zip) on the server as well. The older version does not support all the features the current version does and I have no plans to update it in the future, so I do not recommend using this older version unless you are still running Tiger.
