After winning the NM consolation in 1999, the Jedi found himself all alone in the fight against the evil empire of Shaab Vader and his emprentist Dark Liby. (Oslo, Bergen, etc) He therefor founded, with the help of secret foundings from Marianne ”the Warrior Princess”, the JEDI ACADEMY. The purpose of the ACADEMY was to educate new and strong Jedis to the art of backgammon. Currently active on the Jedi trainee program, lead by mentor and cief analyzer ObiGeir Kanobi, is: Jon Krisitian Røyset, Samson Hoiigard, Frode Bull Jæger, Andre Larsen and Nils Ravnboe. Together they form the beginning of the underground backgammon resistance based in the north, whitch goal is to restore law and order in the backgammon universe.

ObiGeir`s comment to the press about the academies achievments this year was following : ”I`m very pleased with my students this year. NM and the Master-final were we finnished 1&2 and 2, was only the first of many test`s they have to go thru to get a more complete understanding of ”the force”. I hope to get theese guys thru the jedi trainee program before the summer of 2001, so the cruel and dark forces in Monte Carlo can be defeated. They are all still young, and the ”force” is strong with them. I even let them play with my ”light dices” for small periods of time, to let them get a taste of the extraterrestial power. Unfortunally they are not still ready for such tools on a permanent basis because they can easily lead to temptations, missuse, and so on.., to the dark side.

About the ”Jedi report” ObiGeir says: ”The Jedi Report” will be an important forum in the rebellion resistance movement nation wide. Thru this report we will spread the word to those who still believes in the pure ”force” of backgammon. In time we will grow in numbers..., and we will prevale....

Besides....the good guys always get the babes in the end.
