| The Norwegian, Swedish and Danish Backgammon Federation have decided to join forces in a Nordic Backgammon Tour in 2011.

Turneringer på turen :
- Nordic Open 2011 (København, 21-25 april)
- Norway Open 2011 (Oslo, 3-5 juni)
- Swedish Open 2011 (Stockholm, 19-21 august)
Man beslutter om man vil deltage i touren når man registrerer sig til de enkelte turneringer (dette vil fremgå af registreringsformularen).
Deltager man i touren vil således ved de tre største nordiske turneringer samle poeng sammen og til sidst vil de 16 spillere med flest poeng spille en final umiddelbart efter Swedish Open i Stokholm.
Der vil være mulighed for at samle poeng i alle rækker til de enkelte turneringer og på den måde kan man som intermediate spiller konkurrere med champion spillerne.
Poeng :
- Én vundet kamp i Main : 7 poeng
- Én vundet kamp i Consolation / 2. Chance : 5 poeng
- Én vundet kamp i Last Chance : 3 poeng
Man beslutter ved registreringen om man vil deltage I turen ved at klikke det af på registreringsformularen og betale de 50€ som det koster at deltage i turen.
På den måde tvinger man ikke folk til at deltage på turen. Man kan således godt spille Nordic Open uden at skulle deltage i Nordic Backgammon Tour.
Præmier :
De 3 backgammonforbund adder 2.500€ til præmiepuljen fra start og dertil kommer de 50€ fra alle deltagerne. Deltager f.eks. 100 ved Nordic Open, 50 ved Norway Open og endnu 50 ved Swedish Open, vil den totale præmiesum løbe op i 12.500€.
Præmierne vil blive fordelt som følger :
- Vinder : 50%
- Finalist : 25%
- Semi finalist : 12,5%
Poengene vil løbende blive opdateret på de tre forbunds hjemmesider og på turneringernes hjemmesider.
Det er vores håb at rigtig mange vil støtte op om denne tur og være med til at gøre dette skandinaviske samarbejde til en succes.

Players who participate in the tour will collect points at the three tournaments as described below. In the end the 16 players who collected most points will play a big final immediately after Swedish Open in Stockholm.
All divisions can participate on the tour (Championship, advanced and intermediate). In this way the intermediate players can compete with the champions.
Points :
- One match won in Main : 7 points

- One match won in Last Chance: 3 points
Players decide if they want to play the tour at registration. You simply click the checkmark on the registration form and pay the 50 € costs to participate in the tour.
In this way players are free to decide if they want to participate in the tour and get a shot at the prize pool.
Prizes :
The 3 backgammon federation add € 2500 prize money and op top of that 50 € from all participants. If e.g. 100 players participate at Nordic Open, 50 at Norway Open and another 50 at Swedish Open, the total prize pool will be € 12,500.
Prizes will be distributed as follows :

The scores will be updated at the three federal sites and on tournaments websites.
